Executive Leadership


Stuart Shiff is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of DivcoWest and is responsible for the strategic direction of the company. Under Stuart’s leadership, DivcoWest entered the SF Bay Area market in 1993 alongside some of today’s leading technology companies. Since then, Stuart has grown DivcoWest into a multidisciplinary commercial real estate company with a presence in key innovation markets across the U.S.
Stuart currently serves on the Executive Committee of UC Berkeley’s Policy Advisory Board for the Fisher Center of Real Estate & Urban Economics, and the Cal Rugby Advisory Board. In addition, Stuart is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering, Urban Land Institute, and Pension Real Estate Association (PREA). He also serves on the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association (BREAA) Board of Directors. Stuart graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree.


Robert Mashaal is the Chief Investment Officer of DivcoWest and is responsible for investment sourcing, execution and performance.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2006, Rob was the Founder and President of Yale Properties USA, a full service, privately owned real estate investment company and joint venture partner of DivcoWest since 1994. In 2006, the major operations of Yale Properties USA were effectively merged into DivcoWest. Robert holds a Masters of Science in Management from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development from MIT’s Center for Real Estate Development, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.


Michael Carp is the President and Chief Operating Officer of both DivcoWest and its parent company DivCore Real Estate Asset Management. In these roles, Michael is responsible for the corporate strategy and internal management of DivcoWest and the platform management and growth for DivCore.
Before joining DivcoWest and DivCore in 2012, he spent nearly 24 years with the real estate investment arm of The Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). Michael served as their Regional Head of the Americas and Global Head of Investments. During his tenure, GIC grew from a relatively small real estate investor to one of the largest and most respected real estate investors globally, with real estate debt and equity investments in more than 40 countries and across all property sectors. In addition to his other responsibilities, Michael helped create and oversaw GIC’s global real estate debt and hospitality investment programs. He began his career at Laventhol and Horwath as an auditor, received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University, and is a Certified Public Accountant (CA -inactive).
Executive Team


David Brandwein is responsible for financial modeling, forecasting and valuations across the firm. David is a member of DivcoWest’s Investment, Executive and Operating Committees, in addition to being the portfolio manager for one of DivcoWest’s separate accounts.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2008, David worked as a Vice President at Colliers International, working with the San Francisco Bay Area investment team. Prior to Colliers, he worked at Yale Properties USA, overseeing financial analysis and portfolio management. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuropsychology from the University of California, San Diego.


Gregg Walker is responsible for overseeing DivcoWest’s strategic broker and tenant interactions and works closely with the CEO on developing new strategic relationships across the country. In addition, Gregg overseas the leasing strategy throughout the US for the DivcoWest portfolios. Gregg is a member of DivcoWest’s Investment and Executive Committees.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2019, Gregg worked as a leasing broker for over 19 years, most recently as a Managing Director for JLL in Silicon Valley, with a particular focus on Life Science and Technology companies. He is a member of CoreNet Global and received his Bachelor of Political Science from the University of Oregon.


Heather Meyerdirk is the leader of the Capital Formation team at DivcoWest. Along with capital formation, she also oversees ongoing investor partnerships, and new initiatives. Heather is also the portfolio manager for various DivcoWest accounts. She serves on the Executive and Operating Committees and is an Investment Committee member for various separate accounts. Before her current role, Heather spent more than six years on DivcoWest’s Acquisitions team.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2011, Heather worked at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group in New York, focusing on loan origination and commercial mortgage-backed securitization. Heather received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.


Jacob Fiumara, a member of the DivcoWest team since 2014, serves on the Executive Committee and is responsible for overseeing Cambridge Crossing. Before this role, Jacob was a Director in Asset Management, with responsibility for assets in the Boston and London markets.
Before joining DivcoWest, Jacob was a Director at Colony Capital in Boston, overseeing a portfolio of assets in the Washington, DC Metro area. Prior to this, he was a broker and appraiser with The Drumlin Group in the Boston Metro area. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Development and Applied Economics from the University of Vermont and is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts (License #: 9060012).


Kate Oppenheimer is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of DivcoWest’s human resource programs and corporate culture. As Chief People Officer, she provides strategic direction for the full scope of people programs across all offices. Kate ensures that DivcoWest’s organizational design and talent management is innovative, engaging, and aligned with the Company’s goals for growth. She serves on the Executive Committee and advises company leadership on shaping the employee experience and development.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2020, Kate was a private Executive and Leadership Coach, and Director in Leadership Development and Culture Change at several mission-led companies including Lululemon. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Leadership from Claremont McKenna College.


Megan Sherman has served as Corporate Counsel since 2017. She oversees DivcoWest’s legal, risk management, and compliance matters, and is also a member of DivcoWest’s Investment Committee and serves on both the Executive and Operating Committees. Megan works closely with the Capital Strategies and Formation team in connection with the formation and structuring of all private investment vehicles sponsored by DivcoWest.
Before joining DivcoWest, Megan was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Goodwin Procter LLP, focusing primarily on the formation of private investment funds. Megan received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.

Sam Hamilton co-leads the Investments Team and oversees investment activity across the Western U.S. Since joining the Company in 2002, Sam has led transactions across multiple product types through multiple cycles. Sam is responsible for overseeing all components of business plan implementation and strategy for all assets on the West Coast. Sam is a member of the Executive and Investment Committees.
Prior to joining the DivcoWest team in 2002, Sam worked at Citigroup Investments where he sourced debt and equity opportunities for various joint venture funds and was responsible for developing new fund opportunities. Before Citigroup Investments, Sam worked on the acquisitions team at Pacific Property Company. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.

Investments




Ariel Aber joined DivcoWest in 2018 and serves as a Team Leader and is responsible for all investment activities for the metropolitan New York area.
Before joining the Company, Ariel was Senior Vice President and Director of Real Estate for AmTrust Financial, a Fortune 500 company in New York City. He oversaw all real estate operations, including the acquisition and management of properties totaling one million square feet globally. Before this, Ariel was the Global Head of Asset Management for AmTrust Realty, a privately-held real estate company. Ariel received a Bachelor of Talmudic Law from Sharr HaTorah in Queens, NY.




Beau Heidrich is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of investment opportunities in San Francisco, the Pacific Northwest and Austin, TX.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2013, Beau worked at Eastdil Secured in their Santa Monica office. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Claremont McKenna College where he was a member of the men’s basketball team for four years. He also has participated in San Quentin State Prison’s Sports Ministry Basketball Program since 2014, which involves bi-weekly visits to the prison to play games against the inmates.




Brad Scott is responsible for the asset management of West Coast properties, with a specific focus on Silicon Valley assets. Brad collaborates with multiple stakeholders to create and execute each property’s business plan to maximize value. His responsibilities include overseeing leasing, capital improvements, and managing day-to-day operations.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2019, Brad was an Asset Manager at MetLife Investment Management where he was responsible for overseeing a portfolio of office, multi-family, and industrial assets in various West Coast markets. Brad also worked as a broker with Kidder Mathews specializing in industrial sales and leasing. He graduated with a Masters of Business Administration, Masters of Real Estate Development, and Bachelor of Science from the University of Southern California.


Breton is responsible for identifying, evaluating, investing in and helping support the growth of early and growth-stage real estate technology companies.
Before joining the DivcoWest team in 2020, Breton helped launch Prologis Ventures, the venture arm of Prologis, where he invested in technology companies transforming the future of commerce and the built environment. Prior to that, he managed channel partnerships at Euclid Analytics (acquired by WeWork), a leading provider of location analytics software to brick-and-mortar businesses. Previously, he was an analyst in the Clean Technology Investment Banking Group at Jefferies where he advised clients on M&A and equity financings. Breton earned a Masters of Business Administration from UC Berkeley and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University.






Chris Eldemir is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of investment opportunities within the San Francisco Bay Area. He also works closely with DivcoWest’s Asset Management and Capital Markets teams to assist with business plan execution and asset financing.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2014, Chris worked at LoanCore Capital as a Vice President in its Greenwich, CT and Los Angeles, CA offices where he was responsible for evaluating, underwriting and structuring senior and subordinate debt acquisition and origination opportunities. Prior to LoanCore, Chris held positions at Sandler O’Neill and Merrill Lynch in New York. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.


Christopher Ponig works closely with the Acquisitions, Construction and Development teams to execute investment strategies across a diverse mix of property types on the West Coast. He is responsible for leasing, capital projects, financing strategies, and operational performance for the assets in his portfolio. Additionally, Chris oversees a number of ground-up developments and large-scale redevelopments where he focuses on development management, construction oversight and leasing performance.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2018, Christopher worked at Clarion Partners as a Senior Vice President focused on the asset management of value-add and development properties in New York, and portfolio management of more than eight million square feet across property types and geographies. Christopher graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is a CFA Charterholder.


Costa Petrunoff oversees the firm’s asset management and development activities in the Southwestern region of the US, including approximately 2.0 million square feet of ground-up development projects. He is responsible for maximizing operational and financial performance of a portfolio of regional assets through strategic asset management and development oversight.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2019, Costa was Vice President of Asset Management at GTIS Partners where he was responsible for direct development projects and joint venture partnerships across the U.S. He graduated with a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Binghamton University.




Daniel Cichocki joined DivcoWest in 2021 and is responsible for sourcing and acquisition of investment opportunities in Southern California. He works with the West Coast Team Leaders on sourcing and reviewing potential investment opportunities in the Los Angeles and San Diego markets.
Before joining the Company, Daniel spent nearly 11 years at Eastdil Secured, where he was a Senior Vice President on the Southern California office investment sales team, where he led the execution on over $15 billion in sale transactions within Los Angeles area. Daniel received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School.






Dennis O’Donnell is responsible for managing asset performance and overseeing the operations and finances of Cambridge Crossing. His leadership is essential in maintaining the development’s strong tenant, investor, and lender relations. Dennis collaborates with multiple teams including Commercial Leasing, Marketing, Finance, Development, and Property Management.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2019, Dennis was an Asset Manager with Albany Road Real Estate Partners in Boston. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College and his undergraduate degree in Anthropology at Harvard College.








Eric Lupinski’s responsibilities include asset management, asset repositioning, construction, development, design, financing, marketing, and leasing for West Coast assets. He collaborates with the Acquisitions and Asset Management teams to identify, develop, and implement business plans that govern the Company’s investment strategy and maximize the financial performance of its real estate investments.
Before joining the DivcoWest team in 2007, Eric worked as a financial analyst at Cushman & Wakefield, analyzing leasing and investment sales transactions in the San Francisco Bay Area. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Denver.




Jackson Hunter joined DivcoWest in 2012 and currently works out of the Boston office with a focus on East Coast acquisitions. He works with the Boston, New York and DC Team Leaders on reviewing potential investment opportunities, overseeing underwriting and transaction execution.
Prior to joining the Boston team, he worked on the West Coast Asset Management and Acquisitions teams in San Francisco, supporting the asset managers with leasing, capital management and reporting. Jackson has also worked with the Cambridge Crossing team as a project analyst on the capitalization of the first life science development, 222 Jacobs. Jackson received a Bachelor of Science in Urban & Regional Studies from Cornell University.




Jared Crowley joined DivcoWest in 2021 and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s asset management and development efforts in the South Western region of the US with a specific focus on Los Angeles and San Diego. Jared is responsible optimizing the performance of ~1.5MSF of the DivcoWest portfolio through business plan creation and execution, capital implementation, lease negotiation and execution, operational oversight, and management of refinance and disposition efforts.
Prior to joining the Company, Jared was responsible for direct asset management and development oversight of Rising Realty Partners portfolio throughout Los Angeles and Denver. Before this, Jared was an Associate Vice President for Colony Capital, a leading global real estate investment management firm, overseeing industrial real estate in California and Texas. Jared received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Political Science from Texas Christian University.


Jeff Longnecker joined DivcoWest in 2012 and oversees the asset management and business plan execution, primarily for DivcoWest’s Boston area assets. Jeff’s responsibilities include, leasing, capital expenditures, tenant relations, budgeting and reporting.
Prior to joining DivcoWest, Jeff spent 11 years working at Clarion Partners as a Vice President of Portfolio Management. Jeff received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Dartmouth College and currently serves as a Gavel Member of NAIOP Massachusetts.


Joe McKenna is responsible for the asset management of investments in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area. Joe collaborates with multiple stakeholders to create and execute each property’s business plan to maximize value. His responsibilities include overseeing leasing, capital improvements, managing day-to-day operations, and overall financial performance.
Before joining DivcoWest, Joe managed portfolios as large as 4.5 million square feet for private as well as public companies overseeing leasing, construction, and property management. Joe received a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts from Colgate University.










Matthew Wallerstein joined DivcoWest in 2020 as the Asset Manager for the New York market, where he is responsible for leasing, marketing, capital improvements and other operational aspects for each asset. He works to ensure successful execution of business plan objectives to maximize value through DivcoWest’s ownership.
Before joining DivcoWest, Matthew was Director of Asset Management & Special Projects at Time Equities in New York, where he was responsible for approximately 2.5 million square feet of value-add and opportunistic office and industrial assets, including complex repositioning and redevelopment projects, land development, ground-up construction, and properties requiring major infrastructure overhaul. He received a Masters of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colby College.


Michael Falvey joined DivcoWest in 2021 and is responsible for sourcing and acquisition of investment opportunities on the East Coast.
Before joining the Company, Michael was a Director for Madison Marquette, a Washington D.C.-based investment manager, developer, and operator. Michael was responsible for sourcing and asset management of office investments along the East Coast on behalf of a discretionary value-add evergreen fund. Before this, Michael worked on the investment team at Synergy Investments, a Boston-based investment company. Michael received a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross.


Michael Provost serves as a Team Leader and oversees all investment activities for the Southwest, with a focus on the Southern California and Austin, TX regional markets. Michael joined DivcoWest in 2008 and subsequently opened the Firm’s Los Angeles office in 2013.
Prior to joining DivcoWest, Michael worked for The Chiofaro Company in Boston, MA with a focus on leasing its flagship property, International Place. Michael received a Bachelor of Arts from Williams College.


Mike Pelletier has been a member of the DivcoWest Asset Management team since 2013 and is responsible for managing key investments in the San Francisco Bay Area, Silicon Valley, and Pacific Northwest. Along with overseeing strategic capital improvements, leasing efforts, and disposition for existing assets, he also assists with underwriting new investments.
Before joining DivcoWest, Mike was a Vice President at Paladin Realty Partners in Los Angeles, a Project Manager at Catellus in San Francisco, and a Project Engineer at Bechtel in San Francisco. He graduated with a Masters of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering also from UCLA.




Nico Papageorge is responsible for asset management for DivcoWest’s Washington D.C. and Southeastern investments. Nico’s responsibilities include leasing, marketing, asset repositioning, construction, design, refinancing, and overseeing the creation of business plans, budgets and forecasts for his portfolio.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2013, Nico was an Associate with PwC in New York, working on various consulting projects and assisting in the issuance of asset-backed securities. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Finance and Mathematics from James Madison University.








Richie is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of real estate investments in DivcoWest’s Southwest region. He also oversees the asset management of the firm’s Southern California multifamily portfolio.
Before joining the DivcoWest team in 2017, Richie worked for Natixis Real Estate Capital, where he was responsible for originating bridge and CMBS loans throughout the U.S., and prior to that worked at CommonWealth Partners where he covered both acquisitions and asset management. Richie graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy, Management, and Planning .




Ryan Friend oversees all investment activity across the Eastern U.S. Since joining the Company in 2014, Ryan has led transactions across multiple product types within the various DivcoWest markets. Ryan is responsible for overseeing all components of business plan implementation and strategy for all assets on the East Coast. Ryan established the Company’s Washington, D.C. office in 2018.
Before joining DivcoWest, Ryan worked in the Investment Management Division at Hines in Boston and New York where he served on the management team for the U.S. Value Added Funds. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Williams College and is a CFA Charterholder.


Sam Hamilton co-leads the Investments Team and oversees investment activity across the Western U.S. Since joining the Company in 2002, Sam has led transactions across multiple product types through multiple cycles. Sam is responsible for overseeing all components of business plan implementation and strategy for all assets on the West Coast. Sam is a member of the Executive and Investment Committees.
Prior to joining the DivcoWest team in 2002, Sam worked at Citigroup Investments where he sourced debt and equity opportunities for various joint venture funds and was responsible for developing new fund opportunities. Before Citigroup Investments, Sam worked on the acquisitions team at Pacific Property Company. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Wisconsin.


Tim Canon focuses on assets in the Southwestern U.S. providing analysis and research for existing and potential investments. He collaborates with the Investment Team to help evaluate new opportunities and management strategies for owned assets.
Tim previously worked on East Coast acquisitions for the DivcoWest team. Before joining DivcoWest in 2012, he served in the Capital Markets group for a leading Boston-based real estate brokerage firm. Tim earned a Masters of Science in Real Estate Development from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Amherst College.


Construction & Development






John Rappoport is a Senior Director of Development, and is responsible for the delivery of core and shell commercial buildings. Since joining DivcoWest in 2016, he has managed the permitting, design and construction of office, retail, and infrastructure projects at Cambridge Crossing.
Before joining DivcoWest, John worked as the Senior Financial Analyst for the Structured Finance Group at Savills in Washington, D.C. John previously held positions at James G. Davis Construction Corporation, a regional construction manager in the Washington metro area. He holds a Masters of Real Estate focusing on Finance from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and Business Administration from East Carolina University.




Mark Johnson serves as Managing Director of Development, and is responsible for leading lab, office, residential, retail and infrastructure development projects. Since joining DivcoWest in 2015, he has managed the planning, design, permitting and construction of Cambridge Crossing. He served as a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and is an instructor at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. He is also a member of the executive committee of A Better City, a Boston-based urban planning organization.
Before joining DivcoWest, Mark was Vice President for Capital Planning and Project Management at Harvard University. Mark also worked as a construction manager and a licensed architect and was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. Mark holds a Certificate in Management from Harvard University, earned a Masters of Architecture degree from Yale University, and graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University.


Nicole LaBossiere is a Senior Director of Development, and is responsible for the delivery of core and shell commercial buildings. Since joining DivcoWest in 2016, she has managed the design and construction of life science buildings at Cambridge Crossing.
Prior to joining DivcoWest, Nicole was the Capital Projects Manager for Novartis Institutes of Biomedical Research in Cambridge, a renowned academic research institution and innovative biotech company. At Novartis, Nicole managed all office, laboratory, and mixed-use construction projects across the 2.4 million square foot headquarters campus—home to state-of-the-art laboratory research in oncology, ophthalmology, and cardiovascular and metabolic-related diseases. Nicole also held numerous construction management roles in healthcare, life science, and biotech projects with Turner Construction Company, an international construction services company and leading builder in the Boston market. Nicole graduated from Roger Williams University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management.


Paul Turek is responsible for managing CAPEX, ground-up development, repositioning, restorative repairs, and tenant improvement projects. Working with Acquisitions, Paul provides consultation during land development and property due diligence.
Before joining the DivcoWest Team in 2013, he was the Vice President, National Director of Construction Management at Marx Okubo. Paul also served as: Managing Partner of Summa III, the Vice President, Project Management at Thompson Brooks, Senior Project Manager with the Shorenstein Company, Construction Manager with Brown & Root, and an Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from St. Mary’s College of California and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Northwestern University. Paul is also a registered civil engineer and holds a general contractor license — both from the State of California.








Tom Sullivan is responsible for the oversight of development activities in DivcoWest’s key markets. While collaborating with Senior Management and the Investment teams to evaluate and underwrite development opportunities, Tom also guides the design, entitlement, and construction of projects and assists with identifying, hiring, and supervising development staff members.
Before his association with DivcoWest in 2015, Tom was Co-Founder and Principal of Wilson Meany Sullivan, President of Wilson/Equity Office, and served on the Boards of BRE Properties and Essex Property Trust. He is currently a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the Fisher Center at the University of California, Berkeley. Tom holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois.


Virginia Calkins is a Senior Development Manager and is responsible for managing ground-up and significant renovation development projects. Since joining DivcoWest in 2020 she has worked on the redevelopment of various existing assets and potential acquisitions in DivcoWest’s Bay Area portfolio.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2020, Virginia worked with Sares Regis managing development and infrastructure projects on behalf of Google and other major technology firms. Virginia began her career at the interdisciplinary design firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro in New York City. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in architecture and economics at Yale University and received a Masters of Business Administration from Stanford.
Capital Formation & Portfolio Mgt




Benjamin Elder has over 19 years of institutional real estate investment, management and operational experience across multiple asset classes and geographies. As the Managing Director of Portfolio Management, Benjamin is responsible for optimizing the performance of DivcoWest’s Menlo Park portfolio by overseeing execution of the long-term vision, capital projects, leasing, budgeting, team management, and overall property operations.
Before joining the DivcoWest team, he founded BayHill Partners, a firm focused on both transitional and long-term commercial real estate investments located in the Western United States, where he completed transactions totaling over $200 million. Prior to BayHill, Benjamin managed portfolios exceeding $5 billion in assets while a Director of Stanford University’s Real Estate Group, a Vice President and Partner at Starwood Capital Group, and a Vice President at Stockbridge Capital Group. Benjamin began his career in New York in the Real Estate Group of consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Benjamin holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Spanish from Colgate University and is a licensed California real estate broker (CA DRE #: 01898503).


David Brandwein is responsible for financial modeling, forecasting and valuations across the firm. David is a member of DivcoWest’s Investment, Executive and Operating Committees, in addition to being the portfolio manager for one of DivcoWest’s separate accounts.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2008, David worked as a Vice President at Colliers International, working with the San Francisco Bay Area investment team. Prior to Colliers, he worked at Yale Properties USA, overseeing financial analysis and portfolio management. David holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Neuropsychology from the University of California, San Diego.


Heather Meyerdirk is the leader of the Capital Formation team at DivcoWest. Along with capital formation, she also oversees ongoing investor partnerships, and new initiatives. Heather is also the portfolio manager for various DivcoWest accounts. She serves on the Executive and Operating Committees and is an Investment Committee member for various separate accounts. Before her current role, Heather spent more than six years on DivcoWest’s Acquisitions team.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2011, Heather worked at Deutsche Bank Securities in the Global Commercial Real Estate Group in New York, focusing on loan origination and commercial mortgage-backed securitization. Heather received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.


Jacob Fiumara, a member of the DivcoWest team since 2014, serves on the Executive Committee and is responsible for overseeing Cambridge Crossing. Before this role, Jacob was a Director in Asset Management, with responsibility for assets in the Boston and London markets.
Before joining DivcoWest, Jacob was a Director at Colony Capital in Boston, overseeing a portfolio of assets in the Washington, DC Metro area. Prior to this, he was a broker and appraiser with The Drumlin Group in the Boston Metro area. Jacob holds a Bachelor of Science in Community Development and Applied Economics from the University of Vermont and is a licensed real estate broker in Massachusetts (License #: 9060012).




Kerrie Weis joined DivcoWest in 2021 and is responsible for managing the investment and optimizing the performance of DivcoWest’s life science separate account.
Before joining DivcoWest, Kerrie was a Senior Director at Nuveen Real Estate, responsible for acquisitions, joint ventures, asset management, and strategic investments. Before this, Kerrie was a Senior Vice President at Eastdil Secured, a global real estate investment bank, where she focused on transactions and capital markets. Prior to her time at Eastdil Secured, Kerrie served as a transportation officer in the United States Army. During her active-duty service, Kerrie served on three deployments to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Kerrie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The United States Military Academy at West Point and received a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University.




Property Management




































Helen Tann is responsible for West Coast property management. Working alongside the property management team, Helen oversees the operational processes and training for DivcoWest’s real estate portfolio. She is also responsible for implementing asset-level sustainability practices nationwide.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2014, Helen worked at CBRE as a Real Estate Manager where she managed Class A high rise assets in San Francisco. Helen received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from New York University.






Jim Lesko leads the Property Management team nationwide in addition to overseeing property engineering and physical due diligence for the portfolio. His responsibilities include property budgeting, financial analysis, sustainability, operations, engineering, and capital improvements.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2008, Jim served as Director of Operations for Yale Properties USA. He has more than 35 years of broad commercial real estate experience and has been designated as a Real Estate Property Administrator by BOMI. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University.












Mark Milone joined DivcoWest in 2018 and is responsible for East Coast property management. He works in collaboration with all departments as well as with construction and service partners to establish and maintain best practices at the properties.
Mark previously managed various commercial office and life science properties throughout greater Boston for DivcoWest, Transwestern, BioMed Realty and CBRE. He is an active member of BOMA Boston, and he holds a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMA International. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross.


























Leasing & Marketing


Gregg Walker is responsible for overseeing DivcoWest’s strategic broker and tenant interactions and works closely with the CEO on developing new strategic relationships across the country. In addition, Gregg overseas the leasing strategy throughout the US for the DivcoWest portfolios. Gregg is a member of DivcoWest’s Investment and Executive Committees.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2019, Gregg worked as a leasing broker for over 19 years, most recently as a Managing Director for JLL in Silicon Valley, with a particular focus on Life Science and Technology companies. He is a member of CoreNet Global and received his Bachelor of Political Science from the University of Oregon.






Mark Roopenian leads all leasing initiatives for Cambridge Crossing. Mark is integrally involved in all aspects of planning, permitting, and community relations for Cambridge Crossing, and is focused on attracting world-class tenants to this distinctive project.
Mark joined DivcoWest in 2015, bringing more than 34 years of ground-up development, leasing, and management experience. He held leadership roles in iconic Boston area properties including International Place and John Hancock Tower. Before joining DivcoWest, he was a Principal with Normandy Real Estate Partners overseeing all leasing and development activities for the Greater Boston and Los Angeles markets. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science from Boston College, and was a defensive lineman for the Buffalo Bills before starting his real estate career. He is active in numerous Cambridge-based community and charitable organizations including: CASPAR, Cambridge Family & Children Services, and East End House. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Kendall Square Association.






As DivcoWest’s Head of Marketing, Tina Snyder is focused on all aspects of the Company’s marketing efforts including brand management, corporate initiatives, business development, tenant relations, and property marketing. Her day-to-day responsibilities include building and strengthening DivcoWest’s brand, overseeing operational and strategic aspects of property and corporate marketing efforts, supporting growth strategies and investment opportunities, and developing property marketing programs for DivcoWest’s portfolio nationally. In addition to her corporate role, Tina spearheads the branding and marketing of Cambridge Crossing.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2017, Tina was the Director of Marketing at The Bulfinch Companies. Previously Tina was the Senior Creative/Marketing Lead at JLL in the firm’s Boston office. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Massachusetts, is the Chair of the Marketing and Membership Committee for NAIOP Massachusetts, and sits on their Leadership Council.
Finance, Legal & Administration






















Bryan Gould joined DivcoWest in 2012 and is responsible for accounting and reporting matters related to DivcoWest’s co-mingled fund strategy. In this capacity, he both oversees the preparation of the Fund’s financial statements and investor reports, and monitors compliance with tax matters for these investment vehicles. Bryan is also responsible for coordinating fund-level operations with the Acquisitions and Asset Management teams and monitoring investment-vehicle cash management and general regulatory compliance.
Bryan started his career at PwC San Francisco, where he obtained his CPA license (inactive) and specialized in the real estate sector for the assurance practice. Bryan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara.


























Farooz Alikhan oversees DivcoWest’s information technology and information security resources, innovations, and initiatives. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in Information Technology to his role, Farooz helps define, execute and align IT and Security strategies with the Company’s overall business strategy.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2013, Farooz was the President and Founder of an IT consulting services company, for which DivcoWest was a client. Prior to this venture, he worked in leadership roles at Actify, Inc., and Incyte Corporation. Farooz recently graduated with a Masters of Science in Cybersecurity from Maryville University (2022), and also has a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biology from Maryville University. He holds a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).








Harshit Shah is a senior member of the technology team at DivcoWest and is responsible for providing thought leadership for the overall technology strategy. In his role as the Senior Director of Business Intelligence, Harshit oversees analytics, systems creation, enterprise applications, and software development. He works closely with business team leaders to implement innovative technology solutions that elevate our partners’ experience and enhance corporate operations.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2014, Harshit worked as an Analytics Consultant with Cognizant. There he collaborated with global healthcare companies to develop and deliver analytical solutions for various product types. Harshit holds a Masters in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Bachelor of Technology, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Nirma University.






Hoa Pham oversees the overall accounting and tax aspects for the General Partner entities for DivcoWest. Before her current role, Hoa was Senior Controller overseeing both DivcoWest and LoanCore corporate accounting activities and managing the overall treasury. She has been a member of the DivcoWest team since 1997.
Prior to joining DivcoWest, Hoa was an Accounting Manager with Paragon Group and Lincoln Property Company. She is currently a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. Hoa obtained her Masters of Business Administration with high honors from the University of Phoenix, and has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Hayward.




















Kate Oppenheimer is responsible for the design, implementation, and oversight of DivcoWest’s human resource programs and corporate culture. As Chief People Officer, she provides strategic direction for the full scope of people programs across all offices. Kate ensures that DivcoWest’s organizational design and talent management is innovative, engaging, and aligned with the Company’s goals for growth. She serves on the Executive Committee and advises company leadership on shaping the employee experience and development.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2020, Kate was a private Executive and Leadership Coach, and Director in Leadership Development and Culture Change at several mission-led companies including Lululemon. She graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Leadership from Claremont McKenna College.


Kevin McLean is responsible for Investor Reporting of DivcoWest’s co-mingled funds, co-investments, and separate accounts. Kevin is also responsible for negotiating and managing subscription facilities for DivcoWest’s co-mingled fund strategy. In his role, Kevin oversees the production and distribution of critical information to investors, such as the quarterly and annual investor reports, and tax documents. Additionally, Kevin plays a key role in ensuring the investment vehicles maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, through oversight of all REIT matters and ensuring compliance with the respective operating agreements.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2012, Kevin was a Senior Manager at Deloitte & Touche, providing audit and advisory services to a range of real estate and private equity clients. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is a licensed CPA (inactive) and an active member of the NCREIF Accounting Committee.


Kevin Verissimo leads the Development Accounting team in managing job cost, budgeting, and financial reporting for Cambridge Crossing.
Prior to joining DivcoWest in 2016, Kevin was a Project Controller with Suffolk Construction in Boston. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Northeastern University.










Lisa Guerrero is responsible for capital markets, treasury, and accounting policy-related initiatives at DivcoWest. Lisa collaborates with the Acquisitions, Asset Management, Analytics, and Accounting departments to source and monitor their real estate portfolios’ financing. Overseeing the development and architecture of the Company’s treasury function, she is also responsible for strategic initiatives in the Finance and Accounting departments.
Before joining DivcoWest in 2018, Lisa was a Manager in the Deals and Assurance practices at PwC, serving a range of public and private real estate and technology companies on the West Coast. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and is a licensed CPA (active) in California.






Marc Sternberg is the Chief Compliance Officer of DivcoWest. He is responsible for overseeing DivcoWest’s compliance program and ensuring that the firm’s policies and procedures are in compliance with securities laws, rules and regulations. Marc is also involved in DivcoWest’s Operating Committee and its Business Continuity and Security Committees.
Before joining the firm in 2019, Marc was Manager of Compliance at Truvvo Partners, and a manager in the Legal and Compliance group at Blackstone. He received a Juris Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration from Fordham University and has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.




May Geria is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting, lease administration, and accounts receivable functions for the Company’s commercial properties and a select portfolio of development properties. In this role, May is constantly collaborating with various departments to refine and streamline processes so that the monthly closing and financial reporting for properties runs smoothly. May also plays a key role in working with external accountants on aspects of annual financial audits and tax return preparations.
Prior to joining DivcoWest, May was an Accountant at Dempsey, Myers & Company LLP. May earned a Masters of Arts in Economic Policy and Planning and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. She holds an active CPA license with the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.




Megan Sherman has served as Corporate Counsel since 2017. She oversees DivcoWest’s legal, risk management, and compliance matters, and is also a member of DivcoWest’s Investment Committee and serves on both the Executive and Operating Committees. Megan works closely with the Capital Strategies and Formation team in connection with the formation and structuring of all private investment vehicles sponsored by DivcoWest.
Before joining DivcoWest, Megan was an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Goodwin Procter LLP, focusing primarily on the formation of private investment funds. Megan received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Boston University School of Law, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.






Nadine Gordenev oversees corporate accounting, tax, treasury and other operational related matters. She joined the Company in 2017.
Before joining the DivcoWest team, Nadine was an Assistant Controller at Recurrent Energy and also gained real estate accounting experience in roles at AMB Property Corporate, MacFarlane Partners and Catellus Development. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Mary’s College and she received her Masters Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
